Can self help hypnosis assist in the quest for happiness?
The state of hypnosis is considered a sub-conscious state of trance, where the mind is opened to suggestions. By simply using the power of suggestion, and applying them thru the subliminal channels of the mind, we are sometimes able to dig deep into ourselves and find issues that we may have completely forgotten about.
Self help hypnosis is considered by most to be phenomena. Currently there are two theories provided that say hypnosis is a two-state affair; the "Altered state of conscious" that the subject is relaxed into by gentle suggestions or the "State" of the current mind and its constant vulnerability to suggestions.
Many people have used self help hypnosis in the past to gain freedom from the mental fix on smoking tobacco. Others have used it to break free from their addition to drugs or alcohol. In yet another application, hypnosis has also been used to aid those who are overeaters in calming their urges to eat.
How can self help hypnosis aid us on our quest to be happy? There are many reasons why we can become unhappy. A lot of the time, buried issues in mind from our past are what can cause us to lose sight of the future, lack motivation and become sad.
The only way to be truly happy is by dealing with all of our issues and allowing our minds to have inner-resolution. By doing this we have dealt with the issues of our past and take the power away from them of affecting our happiness and daily lives.
Self help hypnosis is not for everybody, and works purely on the power of suggestion and acceptance. You must firmly believe in the practice to truly see the positive results it can yield. If you do, you may be able to find much resolve in your life, and ultimately become happier.
